MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Bowling Club Spar Day held on Wednesday, 8 August again ensured a full green of enthusiastic players who turned out to enjoy the great weather and a good game of bowls.
Taking a break from the regular Pro-10 Trips format used for the last few events, scoring was done using a point per ends won basis, which "levelled the playing field" somewhat and gave all teams a chance to vie for the prizes.
Well done to the winning team of Hanna Coetzer, Pat Stockwell and Johan Schonken.
Runners-up were Chris Hockney, Frieda Thunemann and Arthur Stevens. In third place were Elna de Wet and Gerrit Koorsen.
