Participants enjoyed a breathtaking route, from near the Gourits River mouth, past Kanonpunt, around the point at Fransmanshoek Coservancy, past Bokkomsbaai, Dana Bay via the Pinnacle Point caves, to Cape St Blaize.
Organisers Hano Otto and Sonja Terblanche-Otto of Southern Cross Adventures and Trisport, along with the amazing hospitality of Fred Orban, have created a gem.
Entries open in December for next year's event, which will be limited to 100. So, if you're planning on challenging Petrus Oosthuizen and Elize Kloppers for their coveted titles, you best register early. In this event, only the very, very early Oystercatcher will get the worm, so don't be disappointed!
