MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The men's masters and seniors Coastal Light Tackle Boat Angling (LTB) national championship is taking place in Mossel Bay waters currently.
There are 41 boats in the bay involved in the competition. Two of them are officials' boats.
The Mossel Bay Waterfront is being used as a base for the five days. The catching area stretches from the harbour wall to the mouth of the Little Brak River.
The competition takes place under the South African Light Tackle Boat Angling Association (SALTBAA). Light tackle boat angling is a unique form of sport fishing in the sense that it limits its International Game Fishing Association (I.G.F.A.) rated line to a maximum of four kilograms.
The prize giving will be held on Friday, 23 February at the Diaz Hotel and Resort.
