GARDEN ROUTE | HESSEQUA NEWS - Pinnacle Point Estate, in collaboration with Warwick Wealth, hosted an individual stableford golf competition on Wednesday, 26 August.
On a cold and somewhat windy day, the golfers had to work hard to card down podium scores.
The par 72 course layout can challenge even the most dexterous of players in less than favourable conditions.
Despite Mossel Bay's unpredictable weather, members and visitors alike once again embraced playing the majestic fynbos-lined course. The winner of the day, AJ Steyn, was the only player who managed to equal his handicap, recording a score of 36 points. AJ's performance saw him crossing the finish line with a three-point victory over Leon Smith on 33 points, followed by Danie Otto in third place, with a score of 32 points.
"Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all the players who joined us. We thank regional manager Brett van Vuuren and Warwick Wealth for their commitment to Pinnacle Point in sponsoring our monthly competition," says Paul Hoeksema, Pinnacle Point Media Operations.
