FOOTBALL NEWS - Chiefs cut the deficit to four points following a well-earned 1-0 win over a resilient Cape Town City side at the FNB Stadium on Saturday night.
Ryan Moon was again the hero, scoring in the second half to clinch the points. This was Moon’s fourth goal of the campaign and Komphela said he was happy with the youngster’s performances, having scored some vital goals.
“We did very well in the first half. They posed a few problems but we managed,” said Komphela after the match.

“We could have gone into half-time with a goal or two. We had a few chances.
“But we are happy with the three points. There are still nine matches to go. Benni (McCarthy) told me we are in a better position now, but they are also not out of it. They are just three points off the pace. There are still too many points to play for.
