This is after she was stabbed to death during a robbery at her house.
Gauteng police spokesperson Col Lungelo Dlamini said the woman was stabbed twice in the chest and was discovered by her neighbour.
Dlamini said that the woman lived alone in her house. The incident happened around 7.30pm.
“When the police arrived, the woman was already dead and her VW Golf 1 was missing. Nothing is the house, however, was taken,” said Dlamini.
“The matter is going to be investigated because at this point, we don’t know the motive behind the killing.”
