Tutu recovering after 2nd night in hospital

NATIONAL NEWS - Anglican Archbishop Thabo Makgoba has appealed for prayers for Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s speedy recovery.

The 83-year-old Nobel Peace Prize laureate spent a second night in a Cape Town hospital after he was admitted for a persistent infection.

The Desmond and Leah Tutu foundation did not given any details about the Arch’s illness, except to say his treatment is unrelated to cancer.

Tutu previously underwent treatment for a persistent infection two years ago.

He has been living with prostate cancer for the past 15 years.
