In a brief statement Sunday, NPA spokesperson, Luvuyo Mfaku, said that this is for the matter to be formally postponed to a suitable date for sentencing.
Last week the Supreme Court of Appeal overturned Pistorius' culpable homicide conviction and found him guilty of murdering his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
He now has to receive and appropriate jail sentence by trial judge, Thokozile Masipa.
Mfaku also said no warrant of arrest was issued for Pistorius at this stage.
Meanwhile, ANC Women's League President Bathabile Dlamini paid a courtesy call on June Steenkamp on Sunday.
