NATIONAL NEWS - The provincial commissioner of Mpumalanga, Lt Gen Semakaleng Manamela, has strongly condemned a domestic violence incident in which a 32-year-old woman and her two children, aged 10 and four, were shot and killed by her husband.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at around 21:30 at Tonga in Nkomazi.
The 36-year-old husband was found with a gunshot wound. A firearm belonging to him was also found in the house.
“The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage. Circumstances surrounding this shocking incident are being investigated,” he said.
The provincial commissioner further indicated that the incident is regrettable and made a call to members of the society to seek professional help whenever they come across life challenges.
