The 20-year-old Lee-Ann Adonis from Kleinmond, in the Western Cape, is said to have “stolen” a bus to get him and 11 other pupils to the exam centre after the bus driver failed to arrive.
According to SA Breaking News, the Hawston Secondary School group were going to write their Maths Literacy exam and feared they would not make it to the school on time.
“We were about 11 matrics and we were scared we would be late for the exams,” one of the pupils said. The pupils even came up with a story to cover up for Adonis if a traffic cop were to stop them.
“We said if we’re stopped, he must sit with us and we would just say the driver ran away,” the matric student explained.
