NATIONAL NEWS - Police are combing the scene after a shooting incident at Cape Town station.

While witnesses do not agree on the number of gunmen seen running towards the station before a series of shots were fired, one fatality has been reported after one of the alleged gunman turned the gun on himself.

Crowds of curious onlookers gathered at the cordoned off crime scene.

It's understood at least two armed men entered the station, apparently dressed in traditional attire worn by Muslim women, with their faces covered in full-face veils.
