Robbers target ambulance men

NATIONAL NEWS - Police are searching for 3 men after two ambulance men were robbed while they were attending to a complaint at Madala Street in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth on Monday morning.

Its alleged the ambulance men were inside their vehicle next to a house in Madala Street when three armed suspects approached them and demanded cellphones and money.

Constable Mncedi Mbombo says the robbers fled with two cellphones and house keys.

No-one was injured and there have been no arrests.
