NATIONAL NEWS - Investigative reporter and author Pieter-Louis Myburgh says the underhanded way the case against him and fellow author Jacques Pauw has been conducted is concerning.
Myburgh says they are still unsure about the details of the charges brought against him and Pauw but they have learned that charges may be connected to crimen injuria or defamation of character.
Pauw confirmed earlier on Tuesday that KwaZulu-Natal colonel Reuben Govender has been removed from the case against him and Myburgh.
Pauw says they won’t let the matter against Govender goand has described the colonel as “a pet cop" linked to a close friend of President Jacob Zuma.
