Man dies on Mango flight

NATIONAL NEWS - A Mango flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town was diverted to George around lunch time yesterday, after a male passenger suffered cardiac related problems.

The middle aged man died just after the plane landed at George Airport.

According to Mango's communication manager, Hein Kaiser, the man experienced health problems an hour into the flight and George was the nearest available airport.

"The crew wanted to get him medical assistance as soon as possible. Unfortunately he died upon landing. Our condolences to his family and friends in this trying time."
