NATIONAL NEWS - In the Gupta family's first response to the Bell Pottinger allegations, the Guptas have told the BBC that the white monopoly capital campaign had nothing to do with them.
The Gupta's spokesperson Gary Naidoo also says claims that the PR firm created "fake twitter bots" to forward the family's agenda are false.
Naidoo has condemned what he calls "political smears against the Guptas".
The embattled family responded to BBC news following an insert on allegations the Gupta family is embroiled in state capture.
He has also denied the creation of so-called Twitter bots to drive the message on social media platforms.
Earlier this year, Bell Pottinger dropped the family's Oakbay Company as its client.
