NATIONAL NEWS - African National Congress (ANC) national executive committee member Bheki Cele says that he has been told of plans to remove deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa in order to destabilise the country and cause enough chaos for the December elective conference not to go ahead.
Cele's comments come amid mounting speculation that another Cabinet shake up is imminent after it was announced that presidential hopeful Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is heading back to Parliament.
The former police commissioner was speaking at the KwaZulu-Natal provincial shop stewards council meeting in Durban on Sunday where he was joined by Cosatu’s Sdumo Dlamini and SACP general secretary Blade Nzimande.
