Family members of the three people who remain in intensive care after the M1 scaffolding collapse have thanked those who helped them, but say they want urgent answers about what caused the crash.
NATIONAL NEWS - Family members of the three people who remain in intensive care after the M1 scaffolding collapse have thanked those who helped them, but say they want urgent answers about what caused the crash.

Two people were killed and 23 injured when the structure collapsed near the Grayston bridge on Wednesday.

Yesterday, Johannesburg mayor Parks Tau visited the injured at the Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital and offered support to their families.

Given Motho says his brother is among the injured in ICU after emergency services rescued him.

“The emergency services rescue and the hospital that was brilliant. Nobody fought with us, nobody did anything bad and they were all trying to help.”
