MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The programme that would commemorate World Food Day at Brandwag on Tuesday has been postponed - no alternative date or reasons were given.
The minister of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, Senzeni Zokwana and Western Cape MEC for agriculture, economic development, and tourism, minister Alan Winde were expected to participate in the event, part of the October Food Securities Month activities.
World Food Day is usually held annually to raise issues around the world on hunger and food security. The theme for this year is “Our actions are our future.
