MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 42-year-old woman is in a stable condition after she was stabbed 19 times in a brutal attack in KwaNonqaba on Friday, 8 November.
The man alleged to have attacked her has been arrested and is expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court tomorrow, 13 November, on a charge of attempted murder.
KwaNonqaba Police Station spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp said that according to reports, it was about 08:15 when the man, who is believed to be known to the victim, came to the woman's residence and began arguing with her, before pulling out a knife and allegedly stabbing her 19 times.
Kapp said the woman was rushed to Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital and then transferred to George Hospital, where she is in a stable condition.
The suspect was arrested on Saturday, 9 November.
