Upgrade of pipeline will affect motorists
The upgrade will impact road users from 3 May - 30 June 2021.

GEORGE NEWS - The upgrade of the bulk water pipeline servicing Thembalethu, George, located underneath the N2 at the Nelson Mandela Boulevard interchange, will have an impact on road users for the period from 3 May until 30 June.

George Municipal spokesperson, Chantel Edward-Klose says access to the site will be strictly controlled. 

She says construction will take place between 07:30 and 17:30. 

“Caution needs to be exercised by all road users throughout the duration of the construction period."

The upgrade will impact road users from 3 May - 30 June 2021.
