MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Yesterday, Monday 7 August, two male minors , both aged 17, appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on charges of murder after an attack on a 30-year-old man in Herbertsdale.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp says investigations indicate the attack on the Herbertsdale resident took place on Friday, 4 August, at 22:00 in Skool Street.
According to reports there was an altercation between the two minors and residents of Herbertsdale, which led to the alleged assault with a panga on the victim.
He was taken to Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital, but died of his injuries on Sunday, 6 August.
The two minors have been in custody since their arrest and will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court again on Thursday, 10 August.
