GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - In order to facilitate critical maintenance work beneath the Thembalethu Bridge, Sanral announces the temporary closure of the Westbound N2 lane (Direction Mossel Bay) from 10 October to 12 October. 

Commencing at 19:00 nightly, motorists will have access to off-ramps at the bridge to transition onto the opposite side of the N2 for uninterrupted travel.

Provincial and George Traffic teams will be on-site to provide assistance. The closure will be in effect until 05:00 the following morning, allowing for the removal of formwork and steel beams utilized in the construction of the new bridge. 

These night-time closures are deliberately scheduled to mitigate inconvenience to road users.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution, reduce speed within the construction zone, and exercise patience. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
