MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Cara Jacobs is a breath of fresh air on the pageant scene.

This 20 year old, currently an intern at New Life Church, studying towards a degree in Theology, is competing to become Miss Western Cape. 

Cara moved to Mossel Bay with her family when she was 10. She attended Milkwood Primary and matriculated at Curro Mossel Bay.

She enjoys spending time with family and friends and having an active lifestyle, with hobbies including canoeing, aerial silk and Latin dancing. When she has time to spare, reading is also high on her to-do list.

Cara believes in pursuing a fulfilled life, where one can flourish while living well. "I strive to be kind and gentle and uplift others wherever I go. One of my strongest beliefs is that life is about much more than you. We are called for a bigger purpose and should therefore live accordingly."

This being her first pageant, she is excited to see where the journey leads.

"I would like to use the platform to tell women that beauty is much more than just having a pretty face. Beauty comes from etiquette, carrying oneself with grace and poise and most importantly, who you are on the inside, as a person."
