MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The planning for the Mossel Bay Sport & Recreation Festival 2019 will start in all earnest at a meeting on Tuesday, 30 April in the Council Chamber at 14:00.
Representatives of all sporting codes are welcome.
The eighth annual festival of its kind will start on 14 September and will last for almost a month until 12 October.
The festival hinges on the participation of the various sporting bodies in the greater Mossel Bay area. The municipality provides support where needed to promote a healthier lifestyle, but the competitions integral to the festival are arranged by the management of the various participating sporting codes.
The festival attracts wide support from participants and spectators alike and promotes the town as an action-filled tourism destination.
