MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A New Rest, Asla Park, resident says sewage from a toilet in the neighbourhood is running into his home.
According to the resident he reported the problem to the Mossel Bay Municipality.
The Mossel Bay Advertiser made an enquiry to the municipality. Its manager, technical services, Thys van Zyl, says all complaints are logged on the municipal system. He says nine blockages have been reported at the specific address.
“No technical problems to the sewerage pipes were reported. However, objects such as rocks and material have been found in the pipes. Technical services cannot take responsibility for any objects thrown into the sewerage pipes.”
The resident told the Advertiser it was not his toilet that was blocked and that the sewage had spilt all over the area.
