MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Two suspects accused of robbing Mozambik Mossel Bay, a well-known restaurant next to Santos Beach, on Tuesday 4 August made a brief first appearance in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court today, 6 August.
On Tuesday morning, several suspects entered the restaurant, allegedly armed with weapons, demanding money.
They allegedly locked the staff in a room and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Mossel Bay Police apprehended two suspects in KwaNonqaba a few hours afterwards.
Today’s court proceedings were held in camera. The suspects’ identities are being withheld until an identification parade is completed.
