MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A two-year-old Boerboel dog, called Big Show, has been waiting to be adopted from the Garden Route SPCA Mossel Bay branch for three weeks now.
He is described by the SPCA as a gentle giant, with much love to give. He loves water, being scratched on his ears and running around. He also enjoys giving people his paw to hold.
Big Show was handed to the SPCA three weeks ago by his owners, who moved to a home that was not pet friendly.
Kay Ievers, who manages the adoptions at the SPCA Mossel Bay branch, says Big Show is a "big sweetheart and a gentle giant who doesn't quite realise just how big he his".
She says Big Show will do well living on a large property, preferably as the only dog. Ievers says he can be adopted by anyone from anywhere as long as they are able to meet him and fetch him from the Mossel Bay branch.
