MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Danica Barnard, a Mossel Bay model, is the only Miss Africa finalist from the Western Cape. She is one of 40 delegates from 54 countries that will be competing for the international titles up for grabs during the week of the pageant in Gauteng.
The crowning will be on 4 November in Buffelspoort in the Northwest Province.
Yesterday, 2 November, Danica was still in first place in the Public Choice and Social Media Choice category, reported her mother, Ronel.
She was also on Wednesday given a special award for Best Photo, chosen from among all the entries including community work, special event attended and media coverage. Only two of the finalists were given special awards.
