MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Tourism professional Alewijn Dippenaar is so delighted with the new campaign, The Great Escape to Mossel Bay, that he has branded his vintage car with the campaign logo.
"I think it is wonderful how everyone is working together on this campaign," he said.
Dippenaar has long been striving for the Garden Route to be an adventure tourism hub and has held several meetings with tourism industry stakeholders to try to achieve this.
He is the organiser of the annual Thousand Sensations Crafted Beer and Food Festival and the Outeniqua Wheelchair Challenge.
The Great Escape to Mossel Bay campaign, which was launched two weeks ago, is a concerted effort by the Mossel Bay Tourism Office and other stakeholders to draw holidaymakers, keen to spread their wings after lockdown, to Mossel Bay.
