MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A request has been issued from the management of Benevolent Park senior citizens' complex for members of the public to assist residents of the complex by filling shopping trolleys with food at various shops in Mossel Bay.
What they need is all non-perishable food items including rice, pasta, canned food, canned vegetables, snacks, boxes of juice, cereal, milk, water, coffee, sugar and toiletries.
There are trolleys which have been made available for this at Checkers in Bland Steet and at the Heiderand Mall, at Food Lovers Market in the Heiderand Mall, the OK MiniMark in Marsh Street and at the SuperSpar in Da Nova. Funds can also be deposited into an account for the Benevolent Park residents.
