MOSSEL BAY NEWS - An estate agent has been appointed by the Western Cape Department of Human Settlements to market further housing opportunities at Mountain View in Mossel Bay.
There are 278 Financial Linked Individual Subsidy Programme (FLISP) housing opportunities.
A meeting was held in Mossel Bay last week, 23 November between the Mossel Bay Municipality, the Western Cape Department of Human Settlements and other stakeholders to discuss the way forward.
Information sessions with potential beneficiaries will be held on 8 and 9 December.
Information shared during the session will include:
- Sales prices,
- Available units to buy
- How to check in advance if you can qualify for a first home finance subsidy
- Property finance – check in advance the property finance that you can qualify for
- How to combine the income of two buyers – example single buyers that buy with a family member or friend – to qualify for a subsidy and property finance.
- Assistance how to get prepare yourself as first-time buyer, if you have minor problems with your credit profile.
