MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Peter Betts of Hartenbos took this photograph of the ocean liner, MSC Sinfonia, which arrived in the bay on the morning of Saturday, 4 March.
He said: "I was walking on Hartenbos Beach and saw the light was good for a photo, so I dashed back to my flat and grabbed my camera bag and tripod and drove to Santos Beach and asked the manager of the restaurant in the Pavilion on the beach if I could set up my tripod on the deck outside.
"Even though the light was good, it was changing fast and presented lots of exposure challenges as I shoot in manual mode always.
"The image shows the Hartenbos area with the Outeniqua Mountains in the background behind the gorgeous ocean liner."
