MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A fundraising project for the benefit of Child Welfare SA Great Brak is taking place this Saturday, 11 May, from 10:30 to 14:00.
In this project, called Art on a Line, artists will pin A5 artworks for sale up outside, around Searle's Village Restaurant in Long Street.
They will only cost R100 each.
Donating
Artists are donating their works and do not get a cut from the sale of their works. All the money is going to Child Welfare SA Great Brak.
Great Brak artist Lynda Murison came up with this fundraising idea, says Great Brakker Barry Greyvenstein.
He is well-known in the community for his involvement over many years with theGreat Brak Cabaret in support of charity and for his fundraising efforts for Caws 4 Paws animal charity and also for Child Welfare in the village.
'Paint a brighter future'
Barry invites: "Let's paint a brighter future for children in need. Join us in supporting Child Welfare by purchasing original art."
He says: "Every brushstroke brings hope and every masterpiece sold makes a difference in the lives of children who need it most."
