MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Various business owners and other stakeholders attended the Mossel Bay Business Chamber regional conference yesterday, 15 August.
Committee members from agricultural societies, business chambers, tourism associations and similar societies gave input at the conference, helping businesses plan for the future.
The conference attracted people from throughout the Garden Route area who shared insights into the business landscape of the Garden Route.
Prior to the conference, the chamber said the purpose of it was to take stock of the economic climate and activities in Mossel Bay and surroundings, for business people and other stakeholders to support one another and to explore the unique assets of the Garden Route to the maximum.
The focus was on identifying opportunities to stimulate the economy as well as to identify gaps that need to be addressed to keep local buying power in the area.
