MOSSEL BAY NEWS - As news of the death of Mossel Bay doctor, Riaan Marais, has spread, multiple tributes have been shared, praising the doctor.

Life Bay View Private Hospital manager, Nevil Vlok, said hospital staff are saddened by the sudden loss of the doctor, a physician and longstanding supporting doctor, colleague and friend.

“Dr Marais started his private practice as a specialist physician with Life Bay View Private Hospital more than 17 years ago. 

We will miss his unwavering dedication and service to our patients, our hospital and staff and to our entire community.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone whose life was touched by Dr Marais and we send our love and condolences to his wife Nina, his children, family and friends at this time.”

The exact date of his passing is not yet confirmed.
