MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 45-year-old man has died after a motor vehicle and a motorcycle collided on Louis Fourie Road yesterday, 24 December.
Southern Cape Police Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Chris Spies, said that upon the police's arrival at the scene, the man was found with serious injuries and later declared dead by emergency medical services.
The Da Gamaskop Police in Mossel Bay have opened a culpable homicide docket. Investigation into the matter is ongoing.
"Emergency services personnel on scene commended the behavior of road users who displayed exemplary conduct while members were busy on the scene," said Spies.
As a result of the accident, the lane in the direction of Hartenbos was temporarily closed from the Garret Street robots and traffic redirected.
