Gunshots and explosions rock Paris as cops allegedly corner mastermind

INTERNATIONAL NEWS - A number of suspects, including the alleged mastermind of the Paris attacks, Abdel Hamid Abaaoud, are reportedly holed up in a building as a major police operation continues in the suburb of Saint-Denis.

The situation comes as police continue with their hunt for all suspects involved in the deadly terrorist attacks that rocked the french capital five days ago, leaving 132 people dead.

Witnesses have reported gunfire and several explosions.

It's being reported that several police officers have been hurt, three people killed and two arrests made so far.

French media say a woman died after detonating a suicide belt while another suspect was shot by a police sniper.
