Health officials have been deployed in many roles. Oral hygienist Tamsyn Rieckers and the school health nurse, Sister Tonia Ailword are pampering their colleagues with lovely hand massages and other treats, while representatives of various NGOs, such as Creating Effective Families (CEF) and the Piet Julie AIDS Action Group, are on hand to give valuable health advice.
Employees are having their blood pressure, blood sugar levels and cholesterol tested and are given a demonstration in the correct use of condoms to help prevent unwanted pregnancies and the spread of HIV/Aids.
Although intended for government employees in the greater Mossel Bay area, members of the public are welcome to attend and have their health vitals checked.
