MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A well-known former Mossel Bay doctor, Quentin Ninaber, passed away on Saturday morning, 14 August, owing to Covid-19.
Dr Ninaber, aged 71, was a resident of the Mossel Bay Retirement Village in Dana Bay. He was in frail care there. Dr Ninaber suffered a stroke in March this year.
He had been active, practising in Dana Bay, until he retired at the end of June last year. He had shared a premises with Dr Willem Olivier, but they had separate consulting rooms and were not partners.
Dr Ninaber had been ill for about a week before he passed away, according to his daughter, Adéle Smit.
He is survived by Adéle and two sons, Heinrich and Juan.
Dr Ninaber worked as a doctor his whole life. He arrived in Mossel Bay in 1994 from Groblersdal, in the Sekhukhune district of Limpopo.
