MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Residents in Dana Bay were highly upset when a buck was recently run over by a vehicle.
Ward 11 councillor, Nickey le Roux says the wildlife in Ward 11 is indescribably important to everyone fortunate enough to live in the area.
"Unfortunately, people exceed the speed limits or simply do not heed the animal life that every resident is proud of."
Mossel Bay Municipality has put up two warning signs along Flora Road to warn residents about the wildlife that often crosses our roads.
Le Roux says there are other roads that also need signs and says they will get to them too.
"Residents are urged to keep to the speed limit and constantly, especially now with the change of season, be cognisant of the bucks, guinea fowl, and other birds and tortoises crossing."
