MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Police have arrested three learners following an attack on a 16-year-old boy who died after he was stabbed at Hillcrest Secondary School in Mossel Bay.
The learner died in hospital after being attacked on the school premises by the trio yesterday during break-time.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says the teenager was rushed to hospital but died of his injuries.
Pojie says KwaNonqaba police worked around the clock and by 20:00 last night arrested the third suspect who was involved in the stabbing.
The trio who, are believed to be in grades 10 to 12 are facing a murder charge for which they'll make their court appearance later in the week in the Mossel Bay magistrates' court, once formally charged.
Circumstances surrounding the motive for this horrific act and the motive thereof is underway.
Meanwhile, the Western Cape Education Department says it will continue to provide psychological services to learners and teachers at the school.
