MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Advertiser is assisting the Mossel Bay Association for Persons with Disabilities (APD) via the Advertiser's Oliver Twist Project, which supports worthy causes.
The APD is a registered non-profit organisation, offering social services and support for persons with disabilities and their families.
Although APD is subsidised by the Department of Social Development and Department of Health. These subsidies pay salaries, maintenance, petrol, vehicle services and many other expenses.
The APD also does fundraising projects and programmes but is in serious need of sponsorship. It has day care facilities for children and adults residing in Mossel Bay and Great Brak, where much assistance is needed.
The APD asks that you consider becoming a sponsor. "You will be provided a donor certificate and you will appear on our social media platforms, where we show our gratitude."
Requirements: food, nappies, blankets, clothes, disinfectants, stationery, toiletries, toys, shoes, mattresses, first aid kits.
Donations for the APD can be dropped of at the Mossel Bay Advertiser (044 690 7156) at 9 Church Street in the town centre from 08:30 to 12:00 each day. No cash donations will be accepted.
