MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 50-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with the theft of a vehicle thanks to swift cooperation between the police and members of the community.
The vehicle was stolen in Hartenbos between 00:30 and 06:00 today, 13 February.
“Thanks to information received from the community, members of the KwaNonqaba Police, Sgt Prinsloo, Constables Duitsjan, Kumkani and Boesak, traced the stolen vehicle,” says spokesperson, Sgt Kappie Kapp.
The stolen vehicle was spotted at Jomo’s Tavern, whereafter the suspect driving the vehicle was arrested and detained. He will appear in court early next week.
