MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba Police visited a crime scene at the Seven Star shop in Adriaans Avenue on Friday, 20 August at approximately 18:00 where the body of a 31 year old Bangladeshi co-owner of the shop was found.
According to the spokesperson of the KwaNonqaba Police, Sgt Kappie Kapp the other owner of the shop went past the shop at 08:00 and found the shop closed. Later at 11:00 he went past again and the shop was still closed.
He tried to phone his colleague, but no reaction.
The shop was opened with the assistance of a locksmith where the deceased was found with his feet and legs bound. According to the preliminary investigation, the cause of death was strangulation.
The KwaNonqaba Police are looking for two persons of interest who can assist the police in the investigation.
