MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba Police are asking the community to help identify a man who presumably was murdered.

This morning, at 00:55, police received a call about a man who was found lying in Ndibaniso Street, in Elangeni. 

Upon arrival, several injuries were evident with wounds on the man’s head and arm. 

Police suspect the man was assaulted and possibly stabbed. 

At the scene, the extent of the injuries could not properly be determined. 

The victim was taken to Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital by ambulance where he died just after 03:00 this morning. 

The identity of the deceased is unknown and there are no witnesses at this stage. The public’s assistance is necessary to identify the deceased. 

Any eyewitnesses are requested to contact the investigating officer, Sgt Rudi Swanepoel (044 606 5600). All information will be dealt with in strict confidence.
