MOSSEL BAY NEWS - PetroSA says it has begun a clean-up process to eliminate odours, after complaints from the community.
This follows the latest odour relating to stormwater mixed with oil in the ponds near the refinery.
"The oil in the stormwater is attributable to traces of oil from the plant that were flushed into the stormwater ponds," PetroSA said in a media statement. The company said it cared about the health of all stakeholders and swiftly launched an investigation after receiving the first reports of odours.
