GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Mossel Bay residents are warned of a planned protest in George on Friday, 17 November, and urged to plan their visits accordingly.
The George Municipality is expecting a planned protest march by the Thembalethu Community Forum on 17 November to different institutions including the municipal offices.
The march is scheduled to take place from 08:30 from Thembalethu until 16:00 and there will be traffic disruptions.
The Goerge municipality asks motorists to please avoid Nelson Mandela Boulevard, York Street, and Courtenay Street during these times and to make use of alternative routes where possible.
