MOSSEL BAY NEWS FLASH - Two men accused of the murder of a minor in Dalisili Street in December 2015 was denied bail in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Monday, 15 February.
Magistrate Maseti in his verdict admonished the community for taking the law into their own hands and said that there is no place for vigilantism in the community.
The residents of Dalisili Street have consistently packed the courtroom during the court appearances of the accused.
They have also repeatedly approached the police station and insisted that the case should be withdrawn and the accused must be released. They argued, at times violently, that the residents acted collectively when the 17-year old Daniel Isaac was violently assaulted and eventually killed by the angry mob in the presence of his parents.
