Near drowning at Santos Beach
The NSRI and emergency personnel were called out to assist with the emergency at Santos Beach this morning.

MOSSEL BAY NEWSFLASH - There was a near drowning at Santos Beach in Mossel Bay this morning at 11:05. 

A 27-year-old man from Mossel Bay apparently had an epileptic fit while swimming.

The NSRI and other emergency personnel were called out to assist.

The man was transported to a local hospital. According to information, the young man is in a stable condition.

An official statement will be given by the NSRI.

More information to follow as it becomes available.
