MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The two men killed in a shooting incident at a guesthouse in KwaNonqaba on Monday, 15 March, in what seems to have been a "hit", were businessman Siyabonga Gxakoshe (31) of George and Michael Modizetji (35).
Gxakoshe's body was found at the entrance, outside the guesthouse. He was already dead when police arrived at the scene.
Modizetji was found inside the guesthouse with the four other wounded victims - one man and three women.
He was in a critical condition and died at Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital.
Police have not released the identities of the four victims who survived the shooting.
A preliminary investigation suggests that they were visiting Gxakoshe, who was booked in at the guesthouse.
They were having drinks at about 20:00 in the dining room of the King Phalo Guesthouse when three suspects entered the facility and started shooting.
None of their belongings were taken. It is alleged the three suspects fled the scene in two vehicles.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies says no one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Anyone with information that could help in the police investigation is urged to contact the KwaNonqaba Police (044 606 5609) or Crime Stop (08600 10111).
